Daily habits! You hear it all the time that you should eat right, exercise more, read more, work more…All these habits that are supposed to change your life because you have big dreams and goals. You want that raise! You are dying to lose weight. The thought of working for yourself excites you…

No matter what your big goals and dreams may be, it’s very clear that your daily habits will be the fuel to get you there.

However, people don’t want to wait. They want the instant success, sexy body and millions from their business today! Forget all that ‘hard work’ stuff…Let’s just press the big red easy button and voila…A new you!

Here’s something I’m sure you have heard before….That only happens in the movies. The reality is that it takes time, effort and GOOD DAILY habits to get you there.

That’s a big part of the Plus 1 model. Your daily habits start to feed your monthly goals, which in turn fulfils your big goals. Let’s take a look:

The first step in this entire process is to first ask yourself, what it is you wish to accomplish. This is your big ‘reason why’. It’s what keeps you focused and for this example, let’s say it’s to grow your mailing list to over 10,000 people by the end of the year…

So let’s break it down…

What habits and tasks can you do today, (we’ll use this as an example) to build your mailing list to 10,000 in 12 months.;

1. First you can work on your current autoresponder series, go over it and make sure you are providing your subscribers with value.

2. Next habit you can get into is to do something as simple as engaging some people in social media, get to know the millions of people out there.

3. Another good habit is to read other blogs, auto responder series from professionals that you look up to, you’ll get some great ideas.

4. And finally, promote your squeeze page as much as you can every day.

That’s 4 simple tasks that you can do today, but obviously, you can do a lot more….

Next, you start tracking and monitoring your stats. It’s important to track where you are each month, to see if you are on target. You know that in order to hit 10k in a year you’ll need 833 people joining your list a month.

So break that down into a monthly goal!

You can use this technique for every goal that you have, it’s important to break it down into small manageable and achievable steps because if you try to build a mailing list of 10,000 people in a week…You’ll end up frustrated and defeated. This method is how so much success can be found in every aspect of life and business…

Daily habits start paying off and snowballing, but it’s up to you to get it rolling downhill!

  2. Hi Jon. Working on goals is very important, and they should been done daily if possible. One that I think is most important is the chatting in the Surfs! People get to know, like and trust you in those, the Skype rooms and Huzza, Periscope. All of the mentioned above are important of course. 🙂
