Travelling To The West Coast Of Canada….In Less Than 12 Hours!

I missed yesterday’s Monday Night Thoughts…

Today I slacked on the Noob Night Cryptocast!

So I think it’s about time I come clean….

I jumped on the highway for a road trip to Vancouver Island on the west coast of Canada….

I’m coming out west for a quick vacation to visit a part of my country I have never been to before…

lake louise

And it started in Banff National Park at the famous Lake Louise…

rocky mountains

Next I got through Yoho National Park and crossed the British Columbia border just in time to see the sunset come across the Rocky Mountains…

After spending the night in Revelstoke B.C., I woke up early and reached Kamloops where I ran into a tragic part of summers in the Canadian west…

forest fire

A massive forest fire covered the highways for a good 45 minutes…

But things started to clear up the closer I got to the coast…I got through the lower mainland and reached the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal for a quick boat ride over to Vancouver Island…

So here I am….

On Vancouver Island for the next week and a half! I hope you join me over the next few days as I explore the island for the first time…

One of the biggest surprises that I’ve found so far since I’ve been here…

Palm trees! In Canada…..Seriously 😉

So that was the first 12 hours or so…Let’s see what I will discover next…
