There are days when completing a new and meaningful task comes easy. In fact there are days when everything we do seems to go exactly as planned.
These are days to be treasured and take the opportunity to get a lot done because they don’t come around all that often.
When we are writing on days like this then the words simply flow as if by magic where some unseen spirit is typing the words for us.
When we are designing then the ideas in our heads translate into beautiful designs which exactly capture the message we are trying to get across.
In fact, whatever activity we are working on, it just seems to happen without any real effort and we can really get a lot done.
On days like this then make the most of it. They are days not to be squandered.
But how does this fit in with the Plus 1 mentality? Should we not just achieve one thing and then stop until the next day.
The answer to this is a resounding “No!”
Plus 1 does not limit you from getting more than one thing done in any given day. To think that is to totally miss the point of what we are trying to achieve.
Plus 1 is about doing something meaningful each and every day. Our Plus 1 for the day may have been to get a blog post written or it may have been to finish an email series for our list.
But if we have finished the blog post or the email series and we are inspired to go on and do more then by all means we should go ahead and do more.
If we can do more than originally planned and where it feels right and natural to do more then that is the right thing to do.
This is totally different to trying to do too much to the point where we become exhausted and burn ourselves out. Sometimes getting the balance right may seem a bit tricky but, over time, it is something which will become second nature.
